Case study
How we built and run ShipMe.
ShipMe is the food ordering, ride-hailing and parcel delivery platform Red Giant runs in production. This is what we built, the stack it runs on and how we test every release.

The challenge
One platform had to serve three different jobs (food, rides and parcels) for four kinds of users: customers, drivers, merchants and our own operations team. Every order has to move between them while the customer follows it live, and payment has to work whether the customer pays in cash or by bank-transfer QR.
What we built
Four apps on one system:
- Customer app: Order food, book rides and send parcels, and track every order live.
- Driver app: Receives jobs, navigates to pickup and drop-off, and confirms each delivery.
- Merchant app: Restaurants and shops accept orders and mark them ready for pickup.
- Admin dashboard: Our team manages orders, drivers, merchants and payments in one place.

The stack
React Native
The mobile apps for customers, drivers and merchants, on iOS and Android.
Supabase
The backend: a Postgres database that every app and the admin dashboard share.
Zustand
Lightweight state management inside the apps.
Built with AI coding tools
We built ShipMe with AI coding tools. Every release then goes through the same QA process we offer clients, the process behind our QA service for AI-built apps.

The QA process we run for clients, on every ShipMe release.
